First Grader

Ashlyn started school on August 12th! I really can't believe that she is a first grader, it seems like just yesterday when she was a chubby little baby and projectile vomiting everywhere :)

Toothless

I am pleased to announce that after a very long wait(eight months to be exact), Ashlyn has lost her first tooth. She has been patiently waiting to lose a tooth while seeing ALL of her friends at school lose multiple ones. If you look closely at the last picture you can see that she already has BOTH of her bottom permanent teeth, go figure?

Slip N' Slide

We purchased a Slip N' Slide for the kids last weekend and had some slippery fun. They absolutely love it. But I think Amelia like it the best, she likes to run on it and fall down. Super Summer Fun!!!

Last week Ashlyn had Vacation Bible School at Grace Baptist with her BFF Abby and cousin Cole. On the last day(Friday) it was crazy hair day, so I dug into her hair put a bunch of ponytails in. It was pretty cute...

Citizenship

On June 12th Ashlyn received an award in her Kindergarten class for citizenship. Brian and I came to her classroom to surprise her to watch the principal and assistant principal give her the award. We are so proud of her!!!

Mortifying Mom Moment...

So Addison, Amelia and I are at a department store today and a "little person" walks in about five feet in front of us. Addison starts giggling and shouts:

"hehe oh she's so cute! Mommy she looks like an elf"

I booked it the hell outta there!!!
